Sisterly Love

Yesterday was my big sister's birthday and my present to her was to make some treats for herself and the family while she is away so they don't have to worry about eating take away.

I made a little tray of treats for the girls to take on the plane and beyond and I will make a dinner each night for her husband, my mum and the three kids (Yes, she has 3 kids as well... she just needs a Thermie and we would be twins!!)

The special treats where apricot slice with 3 ingredients, a healthy carrot cake, my favourite vanilla and chia seed cupcakes and apricot and macadamia nut bliss balls.  I will post the dinner selection when I've whipped them up!

Here are the links and recipes.

Apricot Slice - Thermomix Recipe Community -This recipe is a copy of the Cut out the Crap Recipe-

Only 3 ingredients, Apricots, coconut and chia seeds. Super delicious, healthy and quick to make.

Carrot Cake - Well Nourished -

This cake is made with spelt flour, rapadura sugar and orange zest. This makes a very large slice cake or you could turn it into muffins or use a spring form cake tin.

Vanilla and Chia Seed Cupcakes - Sistermixin -

This is my go to cupcake recipe now. Too easy and super simple everyday ingredients. I made a batch of chia seed cupcakes for my sister and traveling buddy but I halved the mixture and made choc chip cupcakes for my boys.

Apricot Bliss Balls - Thermomix Recipe Community -

I substituted the almonds for macadamias and I used cacao powder. Super moist balls that held together really well. You could add protein or other yummy ingredients too.

Stay tuned for the main meal care parcels too.
