Afternoon Tea is served.

We have been blessed with a beautiful day here today so I have whipped up a few afternoon tea treats for us to enjoy with a cup of tea and a milkshake.

These three recipes contain nuts so if you are conscious about sending nut products to school in your child's lunchbox, keep these for after school.  That's our plan but I'm not sure if they will last past tonight!

Here are the recipes and links.

Paleo Anzac Biscuits - The Healthy Chef -

I used rice malt syrup and didn't worry about topping them with any extra almonds.

Raspberry and Blueberry Friands - Thermomix Recipe Community -

I used raw sugar and the best thing about making a recipe like this one is that the Thermomix allows you to melt butter and then mix in all the ingredients without using a saucepan or extra bowls. Bonus!

Cacao Bliss balls -

1 cup of dates, 1 cup of nuts (I used walnuts) 2 tablespoons of cacao powder and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.  Blitz all ingredients for 10 seconds on speed 9 and roll in coconut,  I only rolled half the mixture in coconut.

The friands are still warm so pop on over and I will make you a pot of tea.

Happy Sunday,
Jen X
