Special Treat for the week

We are almost on holidays so this afternoon the boys and I made a special treat to help us make it to Friday.  We baked a yummy chocolate apple cake.  

This is a great recipe and Medium Poppet chose all the decorations.  He even iced the cake so it looks very professional.  

Only minutes to make with simple ingredients and a green butter cream icing on top.  The kids are quiet... let's see how long that lasts!

We used cacao powder and rapadura sugar to make it a bit more special.
